Answers to the most common questions about the free BetterBLOX Roblox extension: setup, browsers, safety and Premium.
Why can't I see last-online status yet?
Tracking starts as soon as the extension is installed — it checks presence about once a minute while your browser is open. A last-online time only appears once BetterBLOX has actually seen that person go offline, so someone who has not been online since you installed will show nothing yet.
Can I turn features on or off?
Yes. Nearly everything has a toggle in the BetterBLOX settings. The one exception is third-party tracker blocking on roblox.com, which is always on; the settings page prints the exact list of hosts it refuses.
Is BetterBLOX free?
Yes. The browser extension and the desktop launcher are free, including the full theme. Premium is optional. It adds the full theming web app and removes the ads from BetterLauncher and BetterStrap.
Which browsers work with BetterBLOX?
Chrome, Edge and Firefox are fully supported. Other Chromium browsers like Brave or Opera can install it from the Chrome Web Store.
How do I report a bug?

Can I suggest a feature?
Yes. Send feature ideas by email with the workflow you want improved and why it matters. We read every one.
Will Byfron or Hyperion affect BetterBLOX?
Not for the extension. Byfron (now Hyperion) is Roblox's anti-cheat for the game client and never touches roblox.com, and the free Roblox extension only runs on the website. BetterStrap does work with the installed client: it writes Roblox's own FastFlag settings file before launch and, with mods on, replaces files in the client's content folder. That is what every bootstrapper does, and none of it reads or writes game memory.
Why isn't BetterBLOX open source?
We keep it closed source to prevent malicious copies and protect the code, which helps keep everyone safer.
